The Wild Card season begins

The first of the thirteen rounds of the Wild Card season officially kicks off this Easter Monday with the traditional Amriswil Grand Prix (TG). Once again this year, the Wild Card rules for the CHI de Genève have undergone a few adjustments, notably with the addition of an extra round, bringing the total number of qualifying competitions to thirteen.

This year, five Wild Cards will be awarded to the top riders from French-speaking Switzerland in the final standings, granting them an invitation to the Medium Tour of the 65th edition of the CHI de Genève, to be held from December 9 to 13, 2025.

Two U25 Wild Cards are also up for play this season. Swiss riders living in any Swiss canton can qualify for these invitations by distinguishing themselves in the following events:

  • Be the top-ranked Swiss rider in the GPU25 in Zurich-Dielsdorf on May 17
  • Be the top-ranked Swiss rider in the GPU25 at the CSI J/JC/-25 in Chevenez on October 11

The complete rules, established in Geneva in March 2026, are available on our website and were published in the April 2026 issue of Cavalier Romand.
