The Wild Cards circuit delivered its verdict in Chevenez

The curtain has fallen on the 2025 edition of the Wild Cards circuit! This Sunday in Chevenez, the final stage determined the four riders from French-speaking Switzerland who will earn their much-desired qualification for the CHI Geneva, taking place from December 10 to 14.

It was a particularly competitive season, with no fewer than 29 riders from French-speaking Switzerland scoring points and a close battle right up to the very end of the circuit.

Franck Goubard, who now lives in Fribourg, secured a place among the qualifiers for the first time, finishing joint top of the overall rankings with two regulars on the circuit: Gaëtan Joliat from Jura and Christian Tardy from Vaud. Guillaume Gillioz from Valais, based in Elgg with Steve Guerdat's stables, completes the quartet of winners who will have the privilege of competing at Palexpo in December.

Thanks to his second place in the Chevenez Grand Prix, Jean-Maurice Brahier has secured the status of first reserve and, depending on the official selections, can hope to join the list of participants in the next CHI Geneva.
