Guillaume Gillioz on the podium in Sion
The Grand Prix de Sion, a new stop on the Wild Cards circuit, saw Séverin Hilléreau take the win with Corsaire HP Z. Niall Talbot, riding Charming Dream Z, took second place, while Guillaume Gillioz from the French-speaking part of Switzerland completed the podium with Remix.
Riders from French-speaking Switzerland continue to excel in the race for Wild Cards to qualify for the CHI de Genève. Philippe Putallaz secured an impressive 4th place with Django’s Time, ahead of Jean-Maurice Brahier, who finished 6th with Emperor of the Sun B. Mehdi Roessli-Dobjanschi (7th with Valderama Tame), Melody Johner (8th with Enjoy de Beaufour), and Laurent Fasel (10th with Flash Vert) also ranked among the top finishers in this leg and earned valuable points.
With a total of 13 stages, only each rider’s seven best results count toward the final standings. At the end of the circuit, the top five riders will earn their Wild Cards for the 2026 CHI Geneva.
As the circuit enters its final stretch, every point counts for the riders still in contention. There are now three stages remaining to stand out and secure one of the five coveted Wild Cards qualifying for the CHI Geneva.
Next stage: Giubiasco, on September 27.
