Yesterday, some 400 Geneva schoolchildren were immersed in the world of equestrian sports.
During their visit to Palexpo, they were not only able to watch the Prix Radio Lac and take part in educational workshops, but many of them also came into contact with horses for the first time in their lives and were allowed to stroke them!
These unforgettable moments were rounded off by the traditional breaking of the "Marmite", a chocolate kettle filled with sweets and marzipan - the sweet symbol of Geneva's traditional Escalade - in the company of our mischievous mascot, Dagz. There was a lot of laughter, and those with a sweet tooth got their money's worth...
