CHIG supports biodiversity with ProSpecieRara
As part of its 63ᵉ edition, the CHI de Genève was pleased to join forces with ProSpecieRara, a Swiss foundation committed to safeguarding rare animal breeds and endangered plant varieties. Sensitive to environmental issues and committed to preserving our natural heritage, the competition was keen to lend its support to this essential cause.
Thanks to this initiative, a symbolic CHF 1 was donated to ProSpecieRara for each ticket sold. This action raised a significant sum for the preservation of biodiversity, a mission at the heart of the foundation's commitments. By protecting forgotten species and varieties, ProSpecieRara actively contributes to genetic diversity and the resilience of agricultural ecosystems.
In this way, the CHI de Genève affirms its desire to play a role in protecting the environment, not just through sport and entertainment. By supporting a foundation committed to safeguarding a precious natural heritage, the competition demonstrates its attachment to the values of transmission and sustainability.
