Eva Gautschi and Beam Me Up Scotty Vom Weihergut CH won Saturday's Grand Prix de Kappelen-Lyss, part of the Swiss Elite Championship final.
Riders from the French-speaking part of Switzerland distinguished themselves well during this stage. Gaëtan Joliat took a superb 2nd place with Just Spécial VK, just ahead of Noah Keller, 3rd with Nestor VDR. Bryan Balsiger came in 4th, while Guillaume Gillioz (9th), Christian Tardy (11th) and Mehdi Roessli-Dobjanschi (14th) also scored valuable points in the race for the Wild Cards.
This leg of the Swiss Championship confirmed the excellent level of French-speaking riders on this circuit, which continues to deliver its share of twists and turns in the run-up to the CHI Geneva.
Next stop Sion, September 14.
