The prestigious CPKC 'International' presented by Rolex at Spruce Meadows lived up to all its promises this weekend. On Sunday, in sunny Calgary, Britain's Scott Brash and his faithful Hello Jefferson won in style, making history ten years after the rider's historic victory with Hello Sanctos, still the only horse to have won the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.
On the mythical International Ring, the Canadian public thrilled to the rhythm of the two technical rounds devised by ringmaster Leopoldo Palacios. After two demanding rounds, only two riders - Scott Brash and American Kyle King with Kayenne Z - made it through to the decisive jump-off.
Faster but at fault, Kyle King lost out to an impeccable Scott Brash, who thus secured an historic third victory at Spruce Meadows. Steve Guerdat and Venard de Cerisy completed the podium.
With this success, Scott Brash becomes the new Live Contender of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.
Next stop: the CHI de Genève, December 10-14, 2025, where he will attempt the double to continue his dream of another Grand Slam.
