Dagz, the CHI Geneva mascot

You may have had the opportunity to meet Dagz, our mascot, at CHI Geneva 2016. We'd like to tell you more about him and share some pictures of his visit to the show.

We asked this darling of the spectators to answer three questions about himself. Of course he answered by telepathy since, like any mascot worth his salt, Dagz only communicates through gestures.

I was born a few years ago in Calgary and I grew up there surrounded by love and competition, particularly around Spruce Meadows. Then I came to Geneva, fell in love with it, and have no wish to leave. I used to dream of being a champion – the mount of a talented rider – but my love of carrots proved too much! I think that actually shows a bit…

My main goal is to make people smile! There seem to be amazing emotional forces at work here, and I'd like laughter to play a major role. I think that's what happened, and I'm already looking forward to meeting up with horse-riding fans again throughout the year, and of course from 7th to 10th December.

No, not at all. It was great to get to meet all the people attending CHI Geneva. We share the same passion, after all: carrots! No, hang on, sorry… that's my own passion. Theirs is more like horse riding in general.
