The race for points is on

The Aarberg Grand Prix marked another stop on the CHI Geneva Wild Card circuit this Thursday. In a competition won by Elian Baumann, riders from French-speaking Switzerland delivered several strong performances in the race to qualify for Palexpo.

Franck Goubard finished 2nd with 13 points, ahead of Martin Kühnis, who came in 3rd with 12 points. Mehdi Roessli took 7th place and added 8 points to the standings.

Jean-Maurice Brahier also completed this stage with an 11th-place finish and 4 points. The 13th-place finish does not count toward the standings, as only the best horse per pair is considered for the rankings.

After the first two stages, where points were less frequent, this stage in Aarberg marks the true start of the race for the standings in the Wild Cards circuit.

The next stage is in Crête on May 30.
