Martin Kühnis wins the Romand Championships in Avully
The 2026 Romandy Championships took place this weekend in Avully, with Martin Kühnis and Citano van Prinsenveld claiming victory.
The pair finished ahead of Thibaut Keller and Happy Girl T in second place, and Johana Cathrein and Lascau d’Ysieux Z in third.
Mélody Johner and Enjoy de Beaufour took fourth place, followed by Franck Goubard and Jean-Maurice Brahier in fifth and sixth respectively.
This event was also particularly important in the race for Wild Cards for the CHI de Genève. The Romandy Championships carry a weighting of 1.5 for the French-speaking Switzerland Wild Card rankings. All participants in the event scored points, enabling each to move up the rankings in the race for invitations to the CHI de Genève.
The race continues: every point now counts in the final stretch towards the 2026 CHI de Genève.
See you on Sunday 18 October for the season’s finale!
